Founded in 2018 by Ryerson University alum Carla Kabbabe, the Canadian jewelry brand, Claurete creates handcrafted fine jewelry pieces with unique designs.
The designs are influenced by the latest jewelry trends while maintaining luxury and simplicity.
From the Infinity Catena Gold Ring to the Rosey Gold Bracelet, Claurete focuses on style, minimalist beauty and comfort.
The brand offers more than 150 fine jewelry pieces including rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings and bracelets.
Every new design matches the latest trends and ensures ease of wear. Claurete uses only durable materials such as 18K solid gold and silver while also maintaining an accessible price.
Carla was inspired by her love for unique designs and experience in the fine jewelry industry.
To pursue her goal, she graduated from Ryerson University and received her B.Com in Business Management while majoring in Global Management Studies and minoring in Entrepreneurship.
Through the support of the innovation incubator, FashionZone at Ryerson, Carla launched Claurete with the vision of creating jewelry that empowers women while also making jewelry more accessible, comfortable to wear and maintaining quality.
“It all started for me when I was still at university in my last semester wondering on how to officially get started as an entrepreneur. ” she explained in a recent interview with The Secrets of Success Women Entrepreneurs Radio blog.
“I took a leap of faith, and here I am now, operating my business and selling worldwide and hoping to inspire other women entrepreneurs to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.”
As a new generation of jewellers emerge, Carla brings a fresh, exciting, and new energy to the Canadian fashion scene while focusing on a filling a gap left by larger brands.
She designs jewelry pieces, coordinates main operations and overlooks the general management of Claurete.
As a young woman entrepreneur, Carla also inspires people through her personal brand on social media, sharing her experiences of business management and fashion industry.

Claurete was born to make a change and to create jewelry with unique designs that customers can enjoy every day due to the ease of wear.
During the design of the products, consumers’ opinion are taken into account as every piece is tested by potential clients and their feedback is incorporated in new designs created for the public.
