A Day in the Life of a Business Development Manager

8:30 AM – Review and Planning I arrive at my favourite co-working spot and begin my work day by reviewing emails and messages from the previous evening. I check my calendar for the day’s meetings and set your priorities. This is also when I review any updates on my ongoing projects and our sales pipeline.

9:00 AM – Team Check-In I join our daily stand-up meeting with the team. We discuss the progress of current projects, share any new leads, and align on the day’s objectives. This is a great opportunity to ensure everyone is on the same page and address any immediate concerns.

10:00 AM – Market Research and Analysis I spend some time analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. I use tools like market reports, industry news, and data analytics platforms to gather insights. This information will be crucial for strategic planning and identifying new business opportunities.
